hi, all this time i've used the default unitframes,
(heres a PIC of the ui i've had since TBC)
but i was thinking about changing to a more minimalistic unit frames,
and probably hange their position to down in the middle.which ones would u revommend?
not xpearl, too flashy.
not shadowed, the party frames cant go horizontally.
i'd like something simple, with nice customization.thanks! <3
edit: and if u know of a minimap addon, that would be great
planing on putting everything on a viewport-strip on the lower part of the screenLast edited by Alex86el; 2010-12-27 at 05:23 PM.

Here just pick something that you like. They all accomplish the same goal.

I use X-Perl and Squeenix.

I like wmmap http://www.wowinterface.com/download...267-wMmap.html
It's simple and lightweight. Also, with shadowed unit frames your party frames don't have to be horizontal, you can customize them...
Maybe try pitbull?

I'm a huge fan of UI customization and I've used a lot of different UF addons..
However, I like Shadowed the most.
xPerl simply have too few options to configure the look.
Pitbull is... Meh.
I just like Shadowed... ^^
I don't use the party frames provided by Shadowed, you can just disable them too and use another addon to handle them. (I use Grid..)For my minimap I use Sexymap.
Btw, why do you have two bars when casting? Ain't that a bit overdone?
Set WoW to run in maximized mode.. I hate looking at the Windows taskbar - It doesn't fit in with the game!2010-12-27,09:56 PM#6

Shadowed. Horizontal party frames is the most stupid thing I've heard, but by all means download a separate addon for it if you must.

I liked(past tense) x-perl for a long time but it appears not to be maintained very well anymore. I don't know what to switch too now.

If you're going for simple and minimalistic, I've always used Grid. Typically you'll find that mostly healers use this addon, but anyone can use it for whatever reason. I find it to be very customizable without all the sparkles that some other unit frame addons have along with them.
